I can sit on my own!

Just 2 weeks ago we discovered that little Claire can sit up all on her own. It was just for a few seconds, then minutes, now she can sit for about 25 min. All by herself! She will be 7 month soon. It doesn't look like she is close to crawling, but she has started rolling over from tummy to back now. I have yet to see it, but both Grandma's have witnessed it!

Feeding time!

Claire has begun eating people food. Although it took some time to get her to eat, she seems to enjoy it now. I don't feed her a lot of actual baby food, I make my own of whatever we are eating. My parents purchased a baby food grinder for us so it makes it super easy and yummy. I find myself often tasting what I feed her, I figure if I will eat it, so will she! She also LOVES using a sippy cup. If you take it away, she lets you know that she is not okay with that!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Claire spent Valentine's day with me at my parents house. We decorated cupcakes for an event at church. She did have the MOST adorable outift, she will be wearing for a while to come! She can look cute in hearts and red for a little while longer right? My good friend Pam offered to watch her that night so Spencer and I could have some down time. What a lucky girl I was! Spencer had ran home after class, cleaned the house, did some laundry and made me a wonderful dinner! This was quite the treat as he rarely cooks, and it was all so delish! He made salmon, my favorite, asparagus, roasted potatoes, opened a great bottle of Roxyann Claret. To top it all off, he made CHOCOLATE creme brulee! Who knew he could do that. After dinner we went and picked up Claire, sharing some creme brulee with Pam as a thanks, went back home and watched 'Fireproof'. It was a great evening, and I felt very loved!
